Description of the Position <br/><br/>An exciting opportunity for Lower Elementary PYP homeroom teacher at WAB for this school year has opened up for the right candidate. This role will focus on supporting students ages 5-7 or Grade KG-2. If you are someone who is driven to connect, challenge, inspire and making a positive difference and with passion for growth and development, this role is meant for you! <br/><br/>The Lower Elementary PYP homeroom teacher will work collaboratively in a learning community to develop units of inquiry, and assessment strategies congruent with WAB's curriculum guidelines. <br/><br/>The Lower Elementary PYP homeroom teacher will employ an inquiry-based approach and differentiate lessons to support the learning styles of individual students. The Lower Elementary PYP homeroom teacher is expected to contribute to the extra curricular activities of the school and be involved in school development. The ES homeroom teacher is responsible to the ES administration for implementing the PYP curriculum, assessment and reporting processes.
