Key Responsibilities:<br/><br/>· To support the lead teacher in helping to foster the overall development and well- being of each individual as directed by the Lead teacher.<br/>· Assistant teacher trained or untrained will fulfill their role in accordance with the Montessori philosophy.<br/>· To work alongside the lead teacher to create an environment in which the children’s learning flourishes.<br/>· To be jointly responsible for the pastoral care of the children.<br/>· To teach individual children, or in small groups under the direction and in consultation with the lead teacher.<br/>· To help the lead teacher prepare lesson plans.<br/>· To set up necessary materials for classes.<br/>· To track student attendance and class schedules.<br/>· To make sure classrooms are safe and tidy before classes start.<br/>· To assist the lead teacher with various tasks, like grading assignments and informing parents of their children’s progress.<br/>· To help students adjust, learn and socialize and report to teachers about possible behavioral issues.<br/>· Faithfully and fully implement instructions from his/her supervisor(s) and the management of the School.<br/>· To supervise children during play or lunch.

Requirements:<br/><br/>have a teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience<br/>have good leadership skills<br/>be able to provide the necessary documents for obtaining a work visa to China<br/>be able to work in a team<br/>be willing to be involved in wider aspects of school life be a good all-round communicator (able to speak and write English)<br/>be caring and supportive of students’ need and emotional development at all times
