Many students who graduate from Chinese universities are looking for opportunities to work in China. In order to work in China after graduation, you need to obtain a valid work visa and work permit.

China work visa (Z visa) is issued to those who have obtained employment permits and intend to work in China.

How To Apply China Work Visa

What do I need to prepare for a work visa (Z visa)?

Copy of passport home page (copy of passport)

(4 two-inch photos (white background))

Copy of medical examination certificate (medical examination at the hospital designated by the Chinese Embassy) - Copy of medical examination certificate (medical examination at the hospital designated by the Chinese Embassy)

Original certificate of no criminal record (to get to no criminal record requires certification by the Chinese Embassy of your country, or impartial certification by the Embassy of your country in China). Original copy of the Certificate of No Criminal Record (to obtain the Certificate of No Criminal Record you need to be certified by the Chinese Embassy of your own country, or the Embassy of your own country in China to be certified impartially)

Original university degree certificate (certified by the local Chinese Embassy) - Original university degree certificate (certified by the local Chinese Embassy)

Original two-year post-university work experience certificate - original two-year post-university work experience

Updated resume (from high school to the present, with no breaks in between) - Resume (from high school to the present, with no breaks in between)

Original work certificate from the Chinese company stating your full name, passport number and position in the company (work certificate).

Copy of residence permit (copy of accommodation registration)

The above documents should be translated into Chinese and stamped with the official seal of the Chinese company.

What is the length of stay of Chinese Z visa?

This Z visa only allows you to stay for 30 days from the date of your arrival in China. During this period, you and your employer must apply for a temporary residence permit within the duration of your contract, with a minimum of 90 days and a maximum of 5 years. Please note that a work visa is usually a one-time entry with a stay time of 000, which means that the stay time will be determined by the temporary residence permit you obtain after entering China.

What is the age limit for Z visa application?

The age limit for all applicants is 18-60 years. However, these requirements have some flexibility, so if you are not in this age group and can find a willing employer, they may still be able to get approval for you.
