Marketing Analyst | Journalist | Podcast Producer. Mariana Schuetze is a journalist and recent graduate of the Journalism program at Toronto Metropolitan University. She moved from Brazil to Canada in 2021 to pursue journalism at TMU, where she was involved in multiple student publications, contributing as a writer and editor. In her work, Mariana values honesty and creativity, and when working with her, you can expect a lot of excitement, transparency, critical thinking, as well as a refreshing and positive look at life. Growing up in São Paulo, Brazil, Mariana brings a unique perspective to the metropolitan life in Toronto. She’s excited to incorporate her Latin-American culture into her work in Canada. In everything she does, Mariana tries to find a reason to care about her work, which not only makes everything more enjoyable, it also leads to a successful, and exciting, final result. Mariana has experience creating works in the realms of arts and culture, mostly film and television, while also incorporating themes of social justice, and advocating for 2SLGBTQ+ lives. Mariana hopes to use the power of words to make some difference in the world, even if by simply bringing joy to people’s lives.
