Summary
Through my jobs in the Ski Industry and 2 placements during my year in industry, I have been able to build my skills in terms of client service, management of time and events, business acumen and knowledge across the political, financial and leisure industries.
As Snowsports Captain and VP of Cycling at Keele I was able to put my excellent time-management and organisational abilities to full use, in running the team and Society. My leadership roles enabled me to gain direct experience of the skills required to co-ordinate others and to work within budgets.
In early 2017 I passed BASI 2, while on the Powder Byrne P2P course in Switzerland and worked in all areas of the ski business for the entire winter season 2016/17 and part time in the following years. I have especially developed my customer service and experience in teaching group and private lessons, including teaching complete beginners. Since then I have worked part time during the 2018/19 winters in Switzerland and Italy.
