Summary

I'm a fourth-year student at Ningbo University studying International Economy and Trade. Over the past few years, I've built up skills in business documentation, data analysis, and working with different software like Excel and Salesforce. Being a Filipino student in China has taught me how to adapt quickly and work with people from different backgrounds. I'm fluent in English and Filipino, and I've picked up basic Mandarin along the way. Right now, I'm looking for an internship where I can put my classroom knowledge to work on real projects and keep learning from experienced professionals.

I decided to study in China, specifically Ningbo University because I knew it would give me more opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. Living here as a wheelchair user pushed me to become more independent—I learned to handle everything from something as small as cooking and transportation, to visa applications on my own. What impressed me most is how well-planned and accessible Chinese cities are, and how helpful people are when I need assistance. Studying here has also taught me that building genuine connections is key to doing business in China, and I've found that people are genuinely eager to connect with foreigners, which has opened many doors for me.
