•Solar photovoltaic (PV) roofline and electrical design work - domestic (typically ≤20 kWp) and commercial (typically 50-100 kWp).•Design and costing of battery energy storage systems (typically 10 - 30+ kWh).•I have designed and/or provided technical support for the installation of >1.5 MWp of solar PV installations.•Modelling of solar PV and battery systems in proprietary software to determine annual yield, pay-back period, power factor, self-sufficiency, self-consumption, etc.•Completion of grid applications (G98/G99) to Distribution Network Operators (DNOs).•Providing assistance and advice for the installation of solar PV and battery systems.•Estimating & tendering for new-build solar PV contracts.•Certification of solar PV installations through the micro-generation certification scheme (MCS).•Remote monitoring of solar PV installations for the purpose of fault-finding and system performance optimisation.

•Conducted energy audits (to BS/EN16247) of clients sites for industrial, process, fine chemical, and electrical wholesaler clients.•Analysed energy intensity & usage profile data from site audits of clients sites. From this analysis, energy conservation measures (ECMs) were developed. The long-term financial benefits (in terms of money saved by the client) and energy-saving credentials of these ECMs are grounded in the analysis they are derived from.•Produced a formal report for each client which detailed the energy audit process, the findings and the ECMs arising from each audit.•Cost savings for clients of implementing all recommended ECMs of £2.30-£8.60 per square metre of facility floor space per annum.•Energy savings of 15-90 kWh per square metre of facility floor space per annum.•Greenhouse gas emissions reductions of 5-22 kg CO2eq per square metre of facility floor space per annum.
