Summary

I am currently a master's thesis student at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Additionally, I work as a research assistant at Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), where our focus is on utilizing stereo vision technology for precise inspection of electrical infrastructures. Moreover, we aim to advance our understanding of 3D reconstructions and apply it to autonomous driving and high-precision 3D mapping with the assistance of AI. My research advisor is Dr. Itsuo Kumazawa Lin Hongrui is a multi-culture and talented engineering student at the University of North Texas. Lin comes from Beijing originally one of the biggest cities in the world. Before coming to America, He has done two internships in two different companies, one is State Grid Corporation of China, another is in a startup company. After becoming a student of UNT, he became a member of doctor Bailey’s project group, which focuses on research arithmetic and signal processing. In addition, he attended the IEEE, which is an international organization of electrical engineers and computer engineers. As an electrical engineering student and an aerophile, he works on combining electrical engineering and aircraft engineering, and select the data analysis of the avionics system as a research orientation to study. During the summer vacation, he went to the airport to observe the landing and taking off of the plane and visit the department of technology of DFW to study exactly. Due to the outstanding work and study, Lin received the general scholarship of UNT and Dean’s List. He hopes to find a job about aviation and continue to do the research on combining electrical engineering and aircraft engineering
