• Collaborate and serve as a liaison to MIT’s Department of Athletics• Collaborate and serve as a liaison to MIT’s ROTC Programs• Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations; keep up-to-date with best practices in athletics and admissions• Serve as a member of the process team, leading major components of MIT’s admissions process• Develop and maintain high-level relationships with relevant stakeholders and collaborate with senior program managers• Review and select undergraduate applicants with a full admissions case load • Actively participate in the admissions selection committee

• Act as a liaison for prospective transfer students with Enrollment Management offices and college academic advising units• Cultivate partnerships with schools and community-based organizations in support of underrepresented student populations, including the establishment of a national partnership with the Cristo Rey Network • Plan, develop, and execute day visits, as well as overnight programming, for athletes and/or students of color • Hire, train, and manage an OverKnight Coordinator/student intern in support of on-campus diversity programming• Manage travel and recruiting budgets for athletic and diversity initiatives • Assist with the development of strategic recruiting, shared decision-making, and communication with coaches regarding athletic prospects and recruits • Serve as a resource for student-athletes and underrepresented student populations as it relates to academic success, well-being, and acclimation to SMC• Check in regularly with the Athletics Department to address any issues or concerns impacting student-athletes • Maintain strong relationships/trust with student-athletes and their families throughout the admissions process, collegiate experience, and post-graduation • By nomination - serve on the President’s Vision Team, a taskforce designed to evaluate, develop, and implement large-scale changes for the betterment of the College • Facilitate the delivery of admissions information sessions and interviews on-campus• Travel to assigned geographic territories and represent the college at a variety of off-campus recruitment activities including high school visits, college fairs, guidance counselor tours, special events, professional conferences, etc. • Oversee the selection of recipients for full-tuition Community Presidential Partnership Scholarships • Experience with managing multiple projects/priorities in tight deadlines with minimal supervision • Exercise good judgment with confidential and sensitive information
