ABOUT THE JOB Responsibilities: Being based at one of our partner universities in Chongqing, Qingdao, Xi’an, Qinhuangdao, Harbin, Nanjing, Weihai (and others) to deliver courses in your discipline area, you will be required to perform these duties: • Liaising with relevant staff on all matters related to the relevant courses • Enacting the delivery, teaching and assessment and implementation of our courses in your discipline area • Working with/mentor relevant teaching staff at the university • Assisting with gathering of feedback of student experience of the courses and student experience of teaching surveys within the courses • Assisting with course mapping and quality control of the program • Working in the Academic Skills program in your discipline area • Supporting the activities in the Offshore Learning Centres (OLCs) • Assisting in the promotion and development of academic projects • Contributing to the teaching of students enrolled in discipline specific courses • Compiling and completing assessment related activities including marking and feedback to students, timely submission of student results and progress reports

ABOUT YOU As a Lecturer in Academic Discipline Area, you will be involved a range of activities related to core our core business including supporting a range of our programs as well as assisting with course mapping and quality control of the program. More specifically you will be involved in the Teaching Visit Program and the Academic Skills program in your discipline area, and supporting the activities our Offshore Learning Centres (OLCs). You will be involved in delivering, teaching and assessment of the our courses in your discipline. Qualifications/Essential Criteria: • Doctor of Philosophy (or Professional Doctorate) • An established peer-reviewed research portfolio demonstrating a consistent approach to reflexive praxis, demonstrated ability to see projects through to completion • International teaching experience working within discipline specific further/higher education • Experience in the delivery of teaching staff training seminars • Contemporary understanding of higher education within an international and bilingual context • Familiarity with national standards • Familiarity with pedagogical development requirements for bilingual students and implementation strategies (upskilling students) across a range of facilitation contexts • Capabilities in evaluation and course improvement strategies – including benchmarking activities, project management skills, planning and development • An understanding of Chinese higher education and Ministry of Education policies in regard to collaborative programs Desirable: • Senior level academics (associate professor or professor) WHY JOIN US? • A competitive salary will be paid. • Opportunity for professional development • Short or long-term contract • Opportunity to work with our established global team HOW TO APPLY Please Click on the APPLY button along with the following documents: • Your updated CV & Cover letter.
