Work Location: San Diego Language Requirement: Spanish, English, Chinese Analyzes and organizes press and personnel scheduling to ensure desired flow of work can be maintained and deadlines met with staffing and production capabilities available. Performs the aspects of Quality Control on the production floor. Continually reevaluates personnel, practices and procedures to maintain and improve Quality Control, safety, levels of production, and morale. Keep abreast of new methods, processes and procedures in order to keep the department running smoothly. Leads and facilitates continuous improvement activity through utilization of Lean Manufacturing tools. Participate in special projects directed toward improving the Production Department relating to high productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency. Use proper training, densitometer and roll-end QC to maintain quality. With the authority of the company, initiates Production personnel actions, such as new hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures. Establish training program for assigned personnel and monitor employee progress; set performance expectations, provide coaching and feedback to employees. Ensure production equipment is operating at optimum efficiency and equipment down-time is minimized by means of Preventative Maintenance practices, Work Order Request Forms and Daily Operator Feed-Back Logs. Ensures all non-conformities are handled accordingly, with proper documentation and segregation. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Language Requirement: Spanish, English, Chinese is a plus. 1. Production Supervisor or Management Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in the packaging industry. 2. Manager level leadership experience with effective performance management and goal setting. 3. Must have proficient computer skills. 4. Must be an effective communicator and leader to motivate and guide employee development. 5. BA/BS preferably in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience required, and MBA Prefered.
