Marketing Communication Officer (Beijing, China) The main responsibilities and tasks of the Marketing Communications Officer are Communications planning and strategy• Independent contribution to development of communications strategies and objectives, and implementation of day to day communication Development and implementation of marketing communications and events activities • Writing and/or editing of marketing materials • Development and maintenance of the company website • Create and execute marketing materials Brand management:• Contribute to ongoing assessment of brand health and brand management activities.• Ensure brand values and messages are accurately, consistently developed and conveyed for all communications Corporate• Driving internal focus of the marketing perspective and liaising with colleagues in other locations to ensure that communications plans and activities up to standard.• Create communications plans in conjunction with Marketing coordinators in other locations and monitor and assist in execution. Budget management and planning• Cashflow management and annual budget planning Market strategy, research, reporting and planning • Undertake research studies and market analysis• Planning and execution of events and promotions (internal and external) as required• Customer Relationship database management• Contribution to marketing strategy and planning •Location: Beijing, China•Compensation: Negotiable(login to view email)
Job Requirements
Skills and qualifications required• Several years of commercial working experience• Preferably, but not essentially, a business-related degree, with business or marketing experience• Well developed communication skills, both written and spoken • Native English speaker preferred but should have good knowledge of spoken and written Chinese, and be able to communicate with Chinese colleagues • Ideally, some previous PR experience with national and international media organisations. • Some event and promotions planning experience• International outlook, understanding and experience with international businesses• Team player, but with independent initiative and a problem solving approach• Highly organized and self motivated• Critical thinking skills and business analysis experience • Excellent computer skills -- Windows and Mac -- including Excel• Experience in website building and management, use of social media for business development preferred• Any qualifications or experience related to the renewables industry would be considered a positive asset
