Key Purpose of Role: This role is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient technical engagement and execution between L+G’s Join Development and Manufacturing (JDM) partners and inhouse development teams. This will be achieved by providing immediately and local technical assistance to JDM partners to unblock issues, risks and challenges, provide clarification and guidance around requirements, drive improved collaboration and engagement between internal and external technical teams.This role is responsible for driving maturity of our JDM partner’s technical (metering) expertise by identifying training and areas for improvement and working with key leaders in the CTO organization to support development of the JDM partners in these areas.This role will support the project managers and product delivery leaders in the successful execution of the project and ensure that key milestones (Mxx gates) are able to be met according to the project plan (M20). This role will also provide knowledge input for driving cost and time to market improvements based on JDM key learnings.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in engineering• Masters Degree would be an advantage• Must be bilingual : English and Mandarin. Cantonese is an added advantage• Extremely strong communication skills with high level of confidence in the use of English.• ~5-7 years work experience in a R&D individual contributor role within the electronic industry• Previous design experience in mixed signal electronics (analogue, digital), power electronics and high resolution metering (eg metrology). Experience in designing for lowest costs.• Previous experience in resolving compliance and regulatory technical challenges including safety, EMC/EMI, metrology. • Experience in measurement technology or the metering business is desirable.• Previously experience working in a geographically dispersed multinational organization • Previous experience working with or in an international manufacturing partner, contract manufacturer or other JDM-like experience.• Basic knowledge and experience in Business Management and in particular Product Management • Understanding and Continuous Improvement (Contribution) of Development Processes• Achieved project targets in complex projects with Management visibility
