Job responsibilities
l Teach British and American Literature across Grades 10–12<br/>l Deliver structured Academic Writing courses (argumentation, research writing, citation, rhetorical<br/>analysis)<br/>l Prepare students for AP, A-Level, or other international assessments (as applicable)<br/>l Design syllabuses, assessments, and grading rubrics aligned with international standards<br/>l Provide detailed feedback on essays and extended writing<br/>l Supervise extended research projects (e.g., coursework, capstone essays)<br/>l Foster classroom discussion grounded in close reading and textual analysis<br/>l Participate in curriculum development and departmental collaboration<br/><br/><br/>
Job Requirements
l Bachelor’s degree or above in English Literature, Comparative Literature, or a related field<br/>l Native-level English proficiency<br/>l Minimum 2 years of secondary or post-secondary teaching experience<br/>l Demonstrated experience teaching analytical and argumentative writing<br/>l Familiarity with MLA / APA / Chicago citation systems<br/>l Ability to guide students in academic research and thesis development<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications<br/>l Master’s degree in Literature, Writing Studies, or Education<br/>l Experience with AP Literature, A-Level English Literature<br/>l Experience teaching international or ESL students<br/>l Experience supervising Extended Essay or research-based coursework
