Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: Event Strategy & Planning: Develop and own the US event marketing strategy and calendar, aligning with product launch roadmaps, marketing campaigns, and business objectives (e.g., lead gen, brand awareness, partner enablement). Conduct post-event analysis and ROI reporting on key metrics (lead volume, cost per lead, influenced pipeline, media value) to continuously optimize our event strategy. Manage the event budget, ensuring efficient spend and maximum impact across all activities. End-to-End Event Execution: Lead all logistical planning for events: venue selection, contract negotiation, booth design & fabrication, shipping, AV, staffing, and on-site coordination. Serve as the on-site captain for all major events, managing the team, volunteers, and vendors to ensure flawless execution. Create and maintain detailed project plans and run-of-show documents to keep all stakeholders aligned. Experience & Activation Design: Move beyond traditional booths by designing highly interactive, hands-on activations that deeply engage attendees (e.g., live project challenges, personalized engraving stations, tech demos). Develop compelling pre- and post-event communications to drive attendance and nurture leads. Collaborate with the Content Specialist to identify and capture compelling stories, testimonials, and UGC opportunities at every event. Stakeholder & Partner Management: Partner with our sales and business development teams to ensure events are effectively generating and handing off qualified leads. Manage relationships with key event partners, including retailers (e.g., Micro Center), makerspaces, and industry associations. Coordinate with the global marketing team to align US event strategy with worldwide initiatives.
