Job responsibilities
Overall purpose Lead category management in sourcing to identify & secure optimal supply Chain, scouting technologies, suppliers & cross-functional collaboration. Drive focus on product level, matching supplier capabilities to support portfolio development and Dometic’s growth Identify opportunities in Dometic’s supply and define strategies for business performance improvements Execute on key strategic activities as part of the global strategy Manage category management in the aspects of cost optimization and close tracking of material market trendMain Responsibilities Manage and assess supplier capability development and opportunities for Dometic with primarily focus in Chinese and Asian supplier market Ensure alignment and plans for product range improvements to ensure a leadership position in the market Responsible for driving profitability thru cost management: Conduct cost analysis for new product development Initiate should cost analysis for key components (New and current items) Responsible for part of the supplier portfolio within the category in close collaboration with the sub-segment strategic sourcing leads and PM Ensure implementation of the sourcing strategy, supporting sub-segment resources and other stakeholders in the execution. Work closely with PD, Supply Chain, NPD, Quality and Operations to ensure timely delivery and cost analysis Drive and ensure achievement of key business KPIs within sourcing and other segments Drive and execute Dometic’s local and global sourcing agenda Manage and lead strategic supplier relationships and negotiations Drives continuous improvement initiatives within sourcing function to enhance efficiency Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to company policies and ethical standardsReporting to APAC Sourcing HeadKey stakeholders Quality, Operations, PD and Supply Chain Head Global Head of Sourcing Regional Sourcing teams Dometic APAC sourcing/Impex,
Job Requirements
Profile And Capabilities Collaboration and Communications Skillset to collaborate closely cross functional with Product Management, Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality and Operations to ensure coordination and alignment of strategies. Communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders, sharing market insights, feedback and progress on specific category Technology and supplier base expertise Insight and knowledge about the supplier market within the category Profound knowledge on related technologies and industry trends Knowledge about the global market and development trend for product portfolio Ability to understand and transform supplier market development and direction into executable input to Product management Negotiation skillset Manage supplier relationship and contract negotiations Change Management Lead and drive change within the organization
