明华跆拳道是由世界跆拳道总部国际院技术审议会赏罚委员长赵根衡创办并担任总馆长。赵根衡馆长从6岁开始进入韩国青涛馆（青涛馆成立于1944年，是韩国历史最悠久, 世界各国领导人分布最多的跆拳道馆)开始学习，于1989年在首尔江南区水西洞开办明华跆拳道馆。先后担任江南区跆拳道协会首任、第二任、第三任会长，并组建表演代表团前后访问全世界20多个国家和地区，明华跆拳道体育馆在(韩国、美国、加拿大、新加坡。菲律宾)的发展盛况空前Minghua Taekwondo was founded by Zhao Genheng, Chairman of the Reward and Punishment Committee of the Technical Advisory Council of the World Taekwondo Headquarters International Institute, who also serves as the Chief Director. Director Zhao Genheng began training at the Cheongtao Dojang in Korea at the age of six (Cheongtao Dojang was established in 1944 and is the oldest taekwondo school in Korea, with leaders from countries around the world most widely represented). In 1989, he opened Minghua Taekwondo Dojang in Suwon-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul. He successively served as the first, second, and third president of the Gangnam District Taekwondo Association and formed a demonstration team that visited more than 20 countries and regions around the world. The development of Minghua Taekwondo gyms in (Korea, the United States, Canada, Singapore, and the Philippines) has been unprecedented.
