Associate Director of Human Resources @ Annenberg Foundation. I am the Associate Director of Human Resources at the Annenberg Foundation. In my role, I work closely with the leadership team and the Board of Directors to align HR with organizational needs. I am responsible for the direction and strategy of all functions of human resources for the Foundation and its LLCs. I oversee an HR team, and together we foster a culture of safety, growth, and respect; create operational efficiency within the department and in collaboration with others; and ensure compliance with employment laws at all levels. I have ten years of HR experience, during which I have led and supported HR teams in diverse sectors and settings, such as nonprofit, for-profit, small, and large companies. I have handled HR challenges such as the COVID pandemic and rapid growth through acquisitions, delivering results and solutions that enhanced employee satisfaction and performance. I have expertise in HR management, payroll and benefits administration, employee engagement, policy development, and federal/California employment law. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) HR leader and SHRM Certified Professional who values servant leadership, transparency, accountability, diversity, inclusion, integrity, and the growth and well-being of employees.
