Assistant Production Manager at SGB-SMIT Group - SGB MY. More than 20 years of experience in manufacturing environment, performing various tasks such as production processes, equipment and tooling research and development, layout proposal elaboration, manufacturing planning/costs, develop production shop floor management (ERP – via SAP), training and ergonomic / safety process. Key accomplishments: - The work involves producing high-quality goods efficiently using the most cost-effective methods and with the aim of reducing the impact of production on the environment. - Support the design, review and integration for new equipment projects as well as new equipment installation. - Review products to determine the root cause of potential manufacturing defects then develop and implement effective corrective actions. - Manage the successful scale up and commercialization of this new process ensuring that target yield, capacity, throughput time and productivity are achieved. - Perform studies of existing conditions related to the problem presented and analyse required changes to achieve increased production output and/or reduce product/process defects and waste. - Establish and maintain appropriate Manufacturing documentation including, Equipment documentation, PFMEAs, Product routings, Manufacturing Process Procedures (MPP/SOP) Product process flow and Logs. - Develop and execute required validations in line with regulatory requirements to include Equipment, Process & Product validations. - Compose and execute validations and changes per the change control process. - Liaising with the research and development department to ensure the transition of products through R&D to mass production, product approval and manufacturing scale up are smooth, timely and cost effective. - Setup, support and conduct process audit at contract manufacturers to ensure meet customer quality.
