Senior Embedded Software Engineer. Simon Rogers is a degree qualified engineer with 20 years of broad experience in the design and delivery of electronic systems gained in the public and private sectors. Simon enjoys the practical aspects of engineering challenges. Simon is comfortable working across organisational boundaries and has worked collaboratively on a range of projects from business critical systems to component level product development. Simon was also involved, in a voluntary capacity, as financial director and chairman for a local housing association. Most recently he has been developed and written the communication requirements for the proposed Silvertown tunnel. Prior to that he was the SCADA SME for a multi million pound project to upgrade London's tunnel control system. Other experience includes the London-wide deployment of a UTMC traffic control system, delivery of cycle hire docking stations and providing technical support across a range of systems.
