Maintenance Planner / Scheduler ⍟ Safety Training Specialist – Experienced in Manufacturing, Mining and Power Generation. I have more than 15 years of proven success assisting mining, manufacturing, water distribution and nuclear power plants to create efficient, cost-effective maintenance and shut-down plans as well as risk mitigation and safety training programs. For the last year, I have served consultative and training roles and find that this is the type of role where I can best leverage my knowledge and skills. I have worked in many high-risk, high-volume industries including potash mines, nuclear power plants and the world’s largest OSB wood manufacturer. I understand how to remove redundancies and optimize resources that drive reliability and mitigate safety risks. I have assisted multiple organizations with shut down planning – including a nuclear power plant and a manufacturing organization going through capital improvements. In addition, I have more than 15 years of experience creating and facilitating safety training programs. I maintain current knowledge of OSHA regulations and have created comprehensive programs that encompass policy, procedure and education initiatives that create an informed, aware workforce. These programs have reduced injuries up to 30% and decreased reportable incidents up to 15%.
