Summary
Freelance Video/LED Engineer/tech. Beginning in third grade Roberto Gomez has been performing music in front of audiences, since then he has come a long way. Early in high school Roberto performed with a local punk rock group but after 3 years of playing together the group called it quits. Throughout his senior year him and Benjamin Bedar began playing music together and in short time they were performing at local venues in the south suburbs of Chicago. In the summer of 2010 Ben and Roberto began performing as a live electronic jam band duo by the name of Astro Boogie. The genre of Astro Boogie has developed and changed over the years with the growth of the project and the talents of its members. Ben and Roberto have recently began incorporating the help of other members and have now transformed the band into the larger, multi-purpose, Astro Boogie Productions. The larger project creates, produces, and manages EDM events throughout the Midwest. Currently Astro Boogie Productions is working on creating video mapping structures that will accompany the band in their live performances.
