The program entailed an interdisciplinary approach to improve the energy and resource efficiency of systems, acknowledging that economic, ecologic and social factors need to be taken into consideration in order to create the best possible solution. Especially the political development and technical requirements for power plants to be connected to the grid were analysed. Without electricity modern life, as we know it, would be impossible. Renewable energies as well as conventional (fossil fuels, nuclear) energy sources are fascinating to me. Most industries need electricity/energy and resources for their products/services. My aim is to improve those systems. Besides my studies, I lived in Japan for two years, mainly as a student, but also as an intern in a Japanese company. Therefore, I can offer in-depth experience of Japanese (business)culture and intercultural skills as well as experience in the field of renewable energies.
