Summary
Sr Director of Engineering. Seasoned Engineering Director with a continued passion for technology. Experience in both cloud and on-premises environments. I am inspired by challenges of scale; scale of hardware, architecture, process and people. I believe in order to build world-class engineering teams you need to assert and grow a world-class engineering culture. This is my bread & butter: hiring great people, creating a strong engineering culture and innovating & automating for scale. I am still hands-on, in terms of Docker, programming (Rust, Scala, Java). Code doesn't reach production though: usually for my personal interest, or as a teaching aid.
