I am a driven and passionate computer science student at The University of Texas at El Paso, graduating in December 2025, with a strong focus on software engineering. My experience across software development, full-stack web engineering, and teaching has refined both my technical expertise and collaborative problem-solving abilities. During my recent tech developer internship with Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, I developed a deep interest in designing and building software systems. I gained hands-on experience with Python, Flask, JavaScript, and MySQL, and worked within SCRUM-like teams to deliver full-stack applications. As an instructional assistant, I apply my software engineering knowledge to guide over 50 students through debugging, testing, and mastering core computer science concepts, significantly improving their learning outcomes. My project work includes creating Muscle Mapping, a personal initiative aimed at providing workout recommendations through a full-stack solution, and Menta, a platform that fosters connections based on mentally stimulating hobbies. These projects have fueled my passion for building user-centric applications that solve real-world problems. In my role as a Technical Support Advisor at Apple, I’ve honed my communication skills, consistently translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable solutions for customers. My ability to effectively communicate has earned me the AppleCare Excellence Award three times, highlighting my success in ensuring customers understand the solutions provided and feel supported. With a solid foundation in software engineering technologies like Java, Python, JavaScript, and React, I’m excited to continue advancing my skills and contributing to impactful software projects while leveraging my strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively and help others succeed.
