In recent years, he mentors startup teams in Silicon Valley and Taiwan for international market, through collaboration with local accelerators, VC investors, and Taiwan ODMs. Near 100 startups were mentored; over 30 startups successfully raised following round averaging $600K USD through successful business traction. He also led the innovation committee within Information and Communications Labs (ICL), with the objective of identifying research topics, industry collaboration, and technology commercialization in the AI, Machine Learning, Self-driving Car, blockchain, etc. He remains a consultant to ICL. He is an entrepreneur co-founded EiC in Fremont, CA and exited successfully； he worked in S&P 500 companies; and he did independent consultation. He launched several state-of-the-art product lines; shouldered profit/loss responsibility and did M&A negotiations. His hobby includes hiking, bicycling, traveling, reading, chorus singing, star gazing.
