A little about me: I have a P.Eng in Mechatronics Engineering from McMaster University, and practical expertise with industrial automation systems, from design to commissioning. I have experience in project management, electrical design and drafting, and programming automation equipment such as PLCs, HMIs, and robotics. I've worked in many sectors from steel production to food & beverage, but I'm currently full-bore in the electric vehicle revolution! I hold a dual position as lead Controls engineer at Tesla's Gigafactory New York in charge of Supercharger and Solar manufacturing, and also as the chairperson of Tesla's Automation Electrical Standards Committee. I'm interested in any projects that involve cycle-time reduction, vision-guided robot material handling, and full integration of new systems, from design to install. All robots I work with are designed with fail-safes to prevent the machine apocalypse. Except the 2030 incident; time-travelling robots don't count.
