I am passionate about helping drug discovery scientists bring new drugs to market quicker, by using AI-driven cutting-edge software solutions that enhance workflows and save valuable time and resources.. As a chemistry graduate, I spent the first five years of my career in commercial business acquisition and account management roles with Pfizer and Fisons Scientific, before a 25-year period in IT recruitment and energy consultancy. The drug discovery process and specifically medicinal and computational chemists utilising AI and ML to accelerate the process of identifying drug candidates has always fascinated me, and I had a strong desire to work in this space, which is why I joined Optibrium in 2022. Described as being approachable, showing a keen interest in all types of people and helping them to overcome challenges has provided me with a good set of tools to be able to work collaboratively with scientists and provide solutions to their project goals and objectives.
