• Acting as Head of Legal Advisory Department of the Unit, • Representing the Unit in front of the Courts in lawsuits, representing the Unit in Litigation and Tax & Customs Arbitration and ADR, • Following-up, planning and monitoring all legal cases and ensuring proper work-flow within the Legal Advisory Department, • Legal consultancy about Irregularities (including; anti-competitive behaviors, prevention of financial frauds, prevention of unethical behaviors, favoritism and preventing unlawful intervention) during tender and implementation process, • Evaluation of all tender process from legal point of view, • Legal consultancy, advisory and following up legal disputes arising from contracts which the CFCU is party • Day to day management of projects both administrative and technical side, • Acting on behalf of Contracting Authority as Contract Manager during all implementation period of the projects from commencement to end of implementation, • Communication between the parties during whole implementation in order to overcome possible risks and problems, • Monitoring and coordination for the “Recovery” process for EU Tenders in Turkey based on the parties’ contrariety actions including suspected frauds, corruptions, financial frauds, forging documental frauds and money laundering.

• Preparation of evaluation and memo letters, • Evaluation and analyzing of tax inspection reports, preparing defense arguments against tax inspection reports • Preparation of risk analysis (including; risk analysis of financial, corruption, frauds, tax deductibility, management, and conflict of interest perspectives) and tax risk calculation charts for client companies • Monitoring and coordination for tax lawsuits (Preparation for filing a tax lawsuit, filing lawsuits, preparing reply petition, preparing petitions for appeal - revision of decision regarding specifically Income Tax, Corporate Tax, VAT-Demolition VAT; monitoring whole process and preparation of reporting and opinion studies) • Reporting and informing clients (informing clients regarding filed and going to be filed lawsuits, preparation of reporting and opinion studies, tax risk calculations, informing clients regarding possible ways to follow and compliances) • Reporting studies within company regularly (preparation of reports for ongoing and completed works/cases; making translations for the documents of administration, investigating literature, legislation and court decisions for contemporary and latest developments)
