  • Business Development Manager

    Cosmetic Canvas Art Ltd
    2019.09-Current(7 years)
Having invested time in developing my partner’s growing Artwork company I’ve utilised my skills to benefit my family with real potential for control, growth and expansion of a small business. As my two previous job roles required working from home, I’ve utilised my self-motivation and honed my time management. Having nurtured my well-established working relationships with many show home and care home designers I’ve developed this key part of our business- catering to their individual requirements. I’ve also built several successful relationships with practicing artists to broaden our provision of services.
  • Artwork Consultant

    Portobello Art Ltd
    2007.09-2019.09(12 years)
Whilst maintaining my role in sales, I was key to the growth of this company. Over a long period of time, I established a large portfolio of clients as we expanded the scope of services we provided. I dealt with publishers on a daily basis and developed strong relationships with designers (in particular, those fromthe leading brand hotels). I implemented my wealth of knowledge gained over the previous 4 years to push this company forward as one of the leading artwork companies in the country.
  • Sales Manager

    Indigo Art Ltd
    2005.09-2007.07(2 years)
Creating new accounts as well as handling existing customers I regularly met with potential and new clients so they fully understood what we could offer and how we could bring value to their businesses. Personal service was key to my approach and is a large part of my success within this industry. I learnt in depth how the hospitality industry works, gained a better understanding of corporate needs, in particular the differences with mass production, art sourcing and commissioning artwork.
  • Sales Manager and Account Handler

    Marcus Galleries Ltd
    2003.03-2005.08(2 years)
My responsibilities included bringing on board new business then managing the accounts personally. I learnt extensively about the manufacturing process as well as working as FOH within the gallery setting. I gained confidence and people skills when managing individuals in different circumstances.
  • Production Manager

    Ramar Electronics
    1992.09-2003.02(10 years)
Ramar Electronics was a printed circuit board manufacturer. Throughout my 11 years there I covered all aspects of production- it was varied, detailed and involved high levels of responsibility. I progressed through the line production, handled toxic chemicals, calculated chemical mixtures and learnt the printing process. Concluding my time there as head of quality control. I had to be versatile, adaptable and learnt a lot about manufacturing, teamwork and pushing myself out of my comfort zone for career development.
