Egle is currently managing utility scale storage (BESS) and solar projects at EDF Renewables. Her responsibilities are end-to-end development of BESS and solar projects: from origination through to the final investment decisions as well as handover of projects to construction and operation teams. Previously Egle was an economist in the British government and a consultant at the World Bank. During her career Egle worked on the government's greatest priorities - EU Exit, International Trade negotiations with EU and US, as an economist, lead on a number of changes in renewable energy policies (CfDs, offshore wind). Expertise: storage, solar, renewable energy, offshore wind, decarbonisation, auction design, energy markets, flexibility, economic modelling.
