Electrical Engineering Consultant. My background is in the development sophisticated electronic equipment, taking them from a market need, defining essential performance requirements, and managing development to full production. These products have been used in a wide range of industries that have included: telecommunications, aerospace, for the military, laboratory instruments and gaming. My role has been as a: • project engineer -- defining product requirements, project scope of work, tasks and deliverables, • project manager -- overseeing internal and subcontract resources for product development, • electrical engineer -- designing: . o analog and switch-mode power electronics, . o AC and DC electrical power systems, . o battery backup and energy storage. • manufacturing engineer -- ensuring designs were producible, developing all documentation/data and fixtures for manufacture, • quality (test) engineer -- . o planning and executing design quality assurance (qualification) test, and . o developing production test capability (fixtures, test procedures, etc.), • And also as a sales and applications engineer -- . o in-house applications and sales, and . o on-site domestic and international sales. In short, I have taken market needs for products, developed the product concepts, and ultimately delivered fully qualified, reliable, production-ready products. It was done as an integrated product team member and leader, engaged with many engineering disciplines, and as the manager over the entire efforts. I can also engage well with allied departments in organizations that include: marketing, sales, accounting, procurement, production, and quality -- my internal customers.
