Summary
Electrical Engineer @ Meta | Ex-Tesla, TI | PhD in Power Electronics |
Powering Energy-Efficient AI Compute for Smart Glasses 🤓, Self-Driving Computers 💻, Data Centers 🏢. Smart system needs a lot of power, but it's hard to use on small devices like smartphones because they don't have much battery or space. At Meta, I work on setting goals for how much power our devices should use, make important decisions about power design, and lead teams to ensure our devices last a long time and perform well.
Prior to Meta, I worked at Tesla, where I helped develop power technology for self-driving cars. I was in charge of designing the power architecture for the car's computer, aiming to make every Tesla car safer, smarter, and more energy-efficient.
Before I moved to the Bay Area, I pursued my PhD studies at CPES, Virginia Tech, a hub for pioneering research in power electronics technology. (Fun fact: it's also the birthplace of the first EV charger in the '70s!) During my time there, I led a 4-year project with a leading US semiconductor company, powering next-gen data centers and servers.
When I'm not geeking out over tech, you'll find me out in nature, exploring national parks, hiking scenic trails, and spotting wildlife in their natural habitats 🦌🦙🦒🐊🐻
