  s / Castlemilk High School · I am regularly booked in to work within the Castlemilk area of Glasgow via Active Schools who I once completed an apprenticeship with. · In this role, I deliver dance sessions across the local schools to children and young people of all ages and take them to city wide dance events. · I also work closely with the Head Teacher at Castlemilk High School where I am regularly booked to help run dance programmes and events each year – ranging from summer camps to school based dance competitions and shows. Dance Instructor · At the early age of eighteen, I started my own successful dance company. Prior to that, I had been teaching in my local schools since I was sixteen. · I adore my dance studio because it offers opportunities and happiness to kids and teenagers who live in, what is seen as, a more deprived area. · Through this experience, I have already organised and hosted two sizable fundraising events that each sold over 250 tickets, planned, promoted, and staged two significant dance showcases that both sold out, and now have a competitive team that competed at national level and are now going to perform in New York City 2025 – due to being noticed online! · My social media profiles, which are already buzzing with activity, are kept current and engaging, and with each amazing opportunity I post, our audience seems to keep expanding. · I enjoy organising and publicising events as well as seeing completed projects finally come together! 08/2021 - 06/2022 Glasgow City Council Teaching Assistant at Battlefield Primary School · I had a part-time job working at a local primary school where I worked one-on-one with a student who required regular support. · This experience taught me a lot of life skills since I had to be able to come up with creative solutions on the spot to help my allocated student learn, all while remaining patient and encouraging. · In addition to this, I assisted in the classroom by designing educational displays and enjoyable activities for the students. · The fact that every day in my job was challenging and unique required me to think strategically and collaborate effectively with my teaching team in order to give the school the best assistance possible. 09/2019 - 08/2021 Active Schools Glasgow Active Schools Modern Apprenticeship · I was given the incredible opportunity to become one of the first PEPASS Active Schools apprentices, which I did over the course of two years while working full-time. · During this time, I assisted in organising citywide events and advertised activities using a variety of marketing strategies, such as social media sites like Twitter and Instagram. I also organised and led numerous sport clubs across Glasgow schools. · I also used this opportunity to up-skill myself by enrolling in numerous coaching, first aid, and event courses throughout the programme–acouple being SAMH mental health training and Disability Inclusion training. · Later, I worked at significant events that involved hundreds of students from all around the city at venues like the Emirates arena and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

  This was my first job after graduating from high school, where I collected and supervised primary school children to transport them safely to the after-school club. · I came up with fun and inventive activities that members may participate in at the facilities. · I provided weekly dance and acro classes – bringing the group together to work on small performances. · I also occasionally worked bank shifts at the Indigo nursery, where I was given the responsibility of looking after groups of kids all day.
