Having 10 years of experience working in a SME and running my own business, I would like to advance further into the MNC world and contribute my knowledge and skills to the best of my abilities. Graduated with a triple Major in Banking and Finance, I dealt with equities in the finance industry upon entering the workforce. Within three and a half years, I learnt a lot about the financial world and how it is essential to build strong connections with the knowledge gained. As my learning curve plateau in the financial scene, I entered into the Singapore Tech Start Up industry in 2013. I joined a growing software company, while undergoing a Technopreneurship programme organised by Lithan Hall Academy. During the 1-year course, I was exposed to entrepreneurship in the tech industry and gained extensively under the mentorship of the CEO, Mr. Leslie Loh. Upon graduation from Lithan Hall Academy, I was offered the marketing and sales Manager role in a precast concrete panel company. With minimal knowledge in the construction industry, but with the drive to succeed, I successfully clinched a total sales revenue of SGD 2.5 million through initiating and playing an active role in revamping the company and product image. With that, I assisted the company to clear all its bad debts within a span of two years, and was subsequently promoted to Director of the company. I decided to pursue my passion in the automotive industry in 2017 after identifying a business opportunity of retailing car batteries in the e-commerce platform and at the same time working as a consultant to a small car and battery tyre retail shop, Ace Battery and Tyre, to grow its business. Upon my first year of appointment, I successfully increased the business revenue by 40% y-o-y. At the same time, I was helping Ace Battery and Tyre parent company, Hwa Kong Trading Co Pte Ltd to handle their online marketing campaigns and assisted them in Business Development projects across South East Asia, namely Myanmar.
