    Structural Engineering
    2019.01-2020.01(a year)
I hold a degree in Structural Engineering and Design, where I developed a strong technical foundation in structural behaviour, material performance, and sustainable design principles. For my technical dissertation, I focused on bamboo construction in Southeast Asia, exploring how bamboo is used as a low-carbon, renewable structural material and how its wider application could be adapted for European construction. This research built on my undergraduate dissertation, which followed a similar technical scope, allowing me to expand my understanding of bamboo as a structural material and consider its practical, environmental, and design implications in different regions.

    Civil Engineering
    2014.09-2018.06(4 years)
I completed my undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, which gave me a broad technical foundation across the main areas of the built environment. My studies covered core modules such as structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, hydraulics, construction materials, surveying, transportation engineering, engineering mathematics, project management, and health and safety. These modules helped me understand how civil engineering projects are planned, designed, constructed, and managed from both a technical and practical perspective. For my undergraduate dissertation, I focused on bamboo as a sustainable construction material, exploring its mechanical properties, environmental benefits, and potential use in modern construction. This research later formed the basis for my postgraduate dissertation, where I developed the topic further with a more focused structural engineering approach.

    2016.09-2017.06(10 months)
During my undergraduate studies, I was selected for a highly competitive student exchange programme in California, within Los Angeles County and Fullerton. This was a very selective process, and I was one of only a small number chosen from approximately 2,000 students. Studying abroad taught me far more than academic knowledge; it developed my independence, confidence, cultural awareness, communication skills, and ability to adapt to new environments. Living and studying in California exposed me to different teaching styles, diverse perspectives, and a more international way of thinking, which has continued to influence my personal and professional development. The experience was so meaningful that I continued visiting for four years afterwards, maintaining the friendships and connections I had made. Looking back, it was one of the most formative periods of my young adult life and helped shape me into a more open-minded, resilient, and globally aware person.
