I never envisioned myself in that circumstance after seeing those movies, yet here I was, following a nice elderly woman off the subway. She understood just how to make her presence felt as she exited the subway, elbowing and shoulder checking individuals. This is just one of the many adventures I've had while living overseas. Every day seems to bring a new surprise, and although not all of them seem to be so great at the time, looking back, I can chuckle and appreciate the unique memories I built.
