We're looking for an experienced engineer with strong knowledge in embedded systems. You are primarily responsible for architecting, prototyping, designing, and building embedded solutions. You will be a key resource across multiple product teams and must be a results-oriented problem-solver who requires minimal supervision. Responsibilities: Build and execute projects from initial concept through delivery Research, prototype and experiment new technology to expand our embedded product offerings Follow good software practice to help ensure smooth software development across multiple sites/teams Effectively communicate ideas, objectives and plans both internally and outside the software group and project team Develop system level module/library to support application software Support 3rd-party software developers, including reviewing design, supporting software integration and sometimes software debug

Minimum Requirements (Must-Have): Bachelor's Degree required (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field) 5+ years experience in embedded software development Strong C/C++programming skills Experience with Ethernet/WIFI communication, audio/video decoding, USB, UART, etc. Team-work spirit, good communication skills, self-motived personality Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase Good communication skills in both English and Chinese Additional Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with retail display industry Comfortable with working with embedded hardware A deep understanding of Linux based embedded software systems
