Our company is a Sino-Italian furniture and interior design studio with offices in Shenzhen and Milan, Italy, and is currently looking for a talented and motivated interior/furniture designer to join our Shenzhen team. Your job includes the following, but is not limited to: - commercial space interior design (sketches, drawings, illustrations and full rendering). - occasional furniture product design. - supporting our Shenzhen and Milan teams on both ongoing projects as well as new opportunities. - working on projects both individually as well as in teams. - shop visits to gain a better understanding of trends and requirements on the Chinese market. Our teams will trust on you to know exactly what's ''hot''. - frequent visits to clients in the Guangdong area to help them with ongoing and new projects and to provide support to BD. - A minimum of 2-3 years post-graduation work experience in commercial interior design, ideally gained in China. - Candidate must be living in Shenzhen already. - Candidate must be fluent in English to ensure accurate communication with the Italian team. - Candidate must be able to understand at least basic Chinese, a must in our industry. - Candidate must be a quick learner. - Candidate must be an excellent communicator and has to be able to ''sell'' his or her skills and work. - Candidate has excellent project management skills. - Candidate must have a good understanding of the Chinese furniture industry. - Candidate must be able to use various different design softwares, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Rhinoceros, 3D Max, Keyshot, Photoshop, Illustrator, Enscape. - Candidate does not have a 9-6 mentality.
