Job responsibilities
1. Budget Planning & CoordinationSupport the development and consolidation of annual budgets, working closely with department heads to align forecasts with business objectives. 2. Expense Monitoring & AnalysisTrack actual spending against budgets across departments, identifying variances and providing timely analysis and recommendations. 3. Cost Control & OptimizationReview operational costs and suggest measures for efficiency and budget compliance. Ensure spending stays within approved limits. 4. Financial ReportingPrepare periodic budget performance reports, cost analysis, and forecast updates for management decision-making. 5. System Data Entry & MaintenanceMaintain accurate data within the company’s ERP or financial systems related to budget tracking, expense categories, and forecasts. 6. Internal Collaboration & SupportCollaborate with finance, procurement, and operations teams to support cost control strategies and budget execution processes. Based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, you will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and managing the company's budget to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with strategic goals. This position is ideal for someone with strong financial insight and a detail-oriented mindset who enjoys turning numbers into meaningful action.
Job Requirements
1. EducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certification (CPA/ACCA/MIA) is a plus. 2. ExperienceMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in budgeting, financial planning, or cost control. Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred. 3. Skills ● Strong analytical and numerical skills. ● Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, charts). ● Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is advantageous. ● Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills. ● Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work cross-functionally. 4.Languages​  ● Fluent in English and Chinese (for cross-border communication).  ● Basic Malay is a plus.  5.Attributes​  ● Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to handle pressure.  ● Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
