Become the leading designer of a fun and original Chinese culture publication. The World of Chinese is currently hiring an Art Director to continue developing and perfecting our current design. Job Requirements
ResponsibilitiesAct as lead designer of magazineMaintain and continue developing current designContinue building style guide for magazine, website and company VIDesign magazine cover for each issueDesign internal page layoutsLead web, e-pub, book, advertisement, promo material design effortsSource and create art and photo solutionsWork closely with editorial and marketing teamsDirect design freelancers and staffPrepare all material for print to meet quality standards and deadlinesRequirementsExperience in publication design mandatoryExperience in web designEducation in graphic designProven ability to find creative solutionsCan work quickly and effectively with Adobe CSGood English skills mandatoryChinese language skills and knowledge of China a plusGood communication, problem solving and organizational skillsEnthusiastic, flexible and a team player
