Want to work as an English teacher in China?

It is required that you be a native English speaker from a nation where English is the primary language.

Taught English as a Second Language (TESOL) for at least 120 hours (TEFL) Certificate \sException: You've earned a bachelor's degree in education or a related field

Must be between the ages of 18 and 60 (for males) or 55 (for women) (women)

At Covid, obtaining a work visa

All Chinese teachers have Z visas, which allow them to work in the country (the work visa).

It may be difficult to enter China because to Covid-19 entry regulations. A PU Letter (invitation letter) issued by your employer is the only route to enter China as a worker at this time. The Z Visa can only be obtained with the PU Letter. Before accepting a position, make crucial to inquire about the availability of a PU Letter from the prospective employer.
