As Publishing Manager for News UK, I am responsible for leading, managing, and developing a team of multi-skilled Coordinators, ensuring they work to the highest standard and provide integrated and efficient planning and publishing services to News UK’s titles which include The Sun, The Times, and The Sunday Times Newspapers, across print and digital platforms. My team provides the principal communication interface and support between Editorial, Commercial, Marketing, Technology, and Operations Logistics. I am personally responsible for ensuring the team accurately configure newspaper and tablet edition plans, place commercial space within defined guarantees and provide efficient and effective file transmission while adhering to the strictest of deadlines alongside staging of digital content for the publishing of newspaper tablet editions.

As Editorial publishing coordinator at the UK's best-selling newspaper, I was responsible for the planning, configuring, and coordinating of all The Sun's UK and overseas editions of the Newspaper. My duties included Creating editorial pages, Placing and ensuring all advertising requirements are met, Proofreading and error spotting to maintain the companies standards, and ensuring only the highest quality content was sent to press. I was also the lead team member when we moved the paper across to our digital platform writing user guides and triaging issues as the app was developed.

As Production editor for The Sunday Times, it was my role to create the page layout for all pages within the Sunday Times News Section, This included Editing pictures, headlines, captions and copy and well as drawing the initial page layout. Additional responsibilities included soft-proofing, proof-reading, ensuring advertising content was accurate and correct, avoiding any clashes with editorial content. Liaising with all editorial departments including Editor, Chief sub, Design Editor, Graphics and picture desk

As Production editor on the Times, I was responsible for creating page layouts for all of the Times paper, choosing pictures from suppliers such as PA, AP and Getty, Sub-editing copy, writing headlines and captions. I was also responsible for uploading on print content from the days Newspaper onto our internet plaform using Escenic Content Studio
