I manged to create an interface management system between several departments to reduce extra costs and increase productivity. Hence, delay costs minimised across construction, completed all outstanding investigation reports and enhanced communication systems across all departments. • Boarded a class 800 IEP train to undertake dynamic testing for the interaction between the overhead line contact system and the train. Collected data and statistical analysis for the compliance to the European technical specification for interoperability. • Worked collaboratively with the Overhead Line Engineering team to verify the design compatibility against the Network Rail standards and ensure the design is safe to be built on site. • Finalised outstanding investigation reports, which allowed the OLE team to understand the root cause analysis for the signal obscurations. I manged to reduce the overall cost of the delays and deliver all other reports one week ahead of the deadline to avoid extra costs. • Contributed to the design review process by calculating and analysing critical Auto Transformer feeder clearance data, to ensure the safety of the construction team while working on track. • Attended online training courses to understand the principles of electrical safety, risk assessment and managing risks on projects and safe by design. • Knowledgeable regarding the instalment process of the different OLE wires and methods of improving construction efficiency on site by attending weekend night shifts and regular walkouts. • Implemented several construction improvements on site, which allowed the construction team to finalise all the expected work within the possession, avoiding delay costs. • Analysed the effect of track renewals on the OLE system and ensured that it will satisfy the Network Rail standards.
