What kind of foreigners can apply for Foreign Permanent Residence ID Card in China?
1、Foreigners whose annual wage income and individual income tax meet the prescribed standards shall apply for permanent residence in China.

3、Foreign Chinese working in Shenzhen apply for permanent residence.
1) Foreign Chinese with doctoral degree
Chinese of foreign nationality who have a doctoral degree or above and hold a work-type residence permit and work in an enterprise in Shenzhen and have worked continuously for at least one year and resided in China for at least six months in total may apply for foreigner permanent residence. Their foreign spouse and minor children can apply at the same time.
2) Foreign Chinese without doctoral degree
Chinese of foreign nationality, without doctoral degree, who have worked continuously in Guangdong province for more than 4 years and lived in China for no less than 6 months each year, can apply for foreigner permanent residence. Their foreign spouses and minor children may apply together.
4、Apply for permanent residence in the conjugal reunion category.
Foreigners who meet the following conditions may apply for permanent residence under the category of marriage:
(1) Marry a Chinese citizen (with permanent household registration in Shenzhen) or a foreigner who has obtained permanent residence in China;
(2) The marriage relationship has lasted for more than 5 years;
(3) Have resided in China for at least 5 consecutive years, and have resided in China for at least 9 months each year;
(4) having a stable living guarantee and a domicile;

They can enter and leave China freely with their valid passport and permanent residence id card without applying for a visa.
Except for some privileges and obligations stipulated in politics, in principle, they can basically have the same rights and obligations as Chinese citizens.
