China Z Visa

China Z visa refers to China's work visa. As the name implies, a work visa is a visa you must hold when working in China. When it comes to different policies in some countries, we provide useful tips and step-by-step processes on how to legitimize documents through a work Z visa.

The whole visa process may vary by country, which is a general process you will gradually complete.

Who can get the China Z Visa

1) At least have a bachelor's degree in native and non-native English.

2) Teachers also need to have a clean criminal background.

3) The third document you need is TEFL or a document confirming two years of work experience (in any field) after graduation - for non-native speakers.

This is an example of a work experience document, Only under these conditions can they qualify and legally obtain work permits in China. In order to apply for this visa, you need to print all these documents on paper. Then, you will carry out the process of translating it into Chinese and authentication by the Chinese consulate. The final step is to apply for a work permit in China.

Let's go through each step in detail

Step 1. Complete the police inspection

USA: usually the non criminal background in local police station is enough, but these policies have become more and more strict recently. Our suggestion is to get the criminal background of the state directly rather than the local background, so as to save trouble in the future.

Step 2: Notarization

Now you have a police inspection and you have the materials ready. At this stage, you need to find notaries / lawyers / law firms / banks and notarize with them to obtain police checks and degree certificates. It can be done in one day.

Step 3. Legalization

Now it's the most complex part of the visa application process - legalization, which usually takes a month to complete. You have obtained a notarized degree and police inspection. They must be sent to the government to legitimize it. The government department here refers to the Ministry of foreign affairs of the country. Some countries, such as Ireland, do not need to implement this step. So people from Ireland just need to skip this step!

Step 4. Chinese Certification

Finally, you come to this step! Now, you can apply degree, criminal record check and TEFL (only for native speakers!) Take it to the Chinese Consulate / Embassy for certification. The work experience documents we mentioned above do not need to be authenticated or legalized. It only needs to be provided in English. You can submit documents in person, or you can use a third party (for example, a family member or an agent) to submit documents. Before submitting documents, you need to fill out a form, print it out and take it to the consulate office.

Step 5: Scan and send to the appropriate agency

After all these steps have been completed, the scanned versions of these documents should be sent to the facility personnel for verification. Once they passed their inspection, they began to apply for work permits in China.

Step 6: Apply for work visa

The easiest way to apply for a work visa is to bring all legal documents with you to China and then apply for a work visa in your country, which can last up to 90 days. In addition, all work visas (if you apply in your country) are only issued for one month, and once you are in China, you must reapply for at least one year.

Step 7: Get work permit

After applying for a work permit in China, if you meet all requirements, you will be granted a legal work permit that allows you to work in China.
